Graviera Papathanasiou cheese is a classic Greek hard cheese made from pasteurised sheep's and goat's milk. Valued for its delicate, slightly nutty flavour and firm, compact texture, it is a symbol of Greek cheese-making tradition.
It is excellent as an addition to salads, pasta, casseroles, and as a table cheese – served in cubes or slices with olives, grapes or honey. When heated, it develops a deeper aroma and becomes even creamier in taste.
