Paximadi are traditional baked goods in the form of cookies or bread. They are small, rather hard and crispy, round or elongated loaves of bread, made from wheat or barley flour, water, and salt, and sometimes with olive oil and other flavorings such as herbs or sesame.
Nowadays, Paximadia are still popular as a snack or an addition to various dishes throughout Greece.
Ingredients: Wheat flour, sugar, corn oil, orange juice (30%), orange peel, raising agent, baking powder, soda.
May contain traces of nuts and sesame.
Store in a dry and cool place.
