Chios Mastiha is a unique product, known since antiquity for its many beneficial properties and wide range of uses. How to use
The resin from the Pistacia Lentiscus tree is characterized by the high hardness and brittleness of its tears, which vary in size, form, and shape. It is a completely natural product, washed with water and sun-dried.
Instructions for chewing mastic
It may require some learning at first, but with time you will become an experienced user.
How to chew mastic:
- Drink plain water before starting to chew (chewing on an empty stomach with natural stomach pH is recommended).
- Choose a hard piece (or several smaller ones) and chew between your front teeth until a mass forms.
- Then chew like regular chewing gum.
- You can also suck a mastic tear like candy until it softens and becomes ready for chewing.
- For mastic in concentrated distillate form, it is suggested to use 5 drops per glass of water.
Chewing time:
Chew mastic for at least 15-20 minutes. However, you can chew much longer, according to your preference.
