Kefalograviera Saganaki Papathanasiou is an original Greek cheese with Protected Designation of Origin (P.D.O.), made from pasteurized sheep's and goat's milk. It has a rich, slightly salty flavor and a springy texture, which, when fried, creates a golden, crispy crust and a creamy interior.
It's the perfect cheese for preparing the classic dish saganaki – simply dust it with flour, fry it in olive oil, and serve hot with a slice of lemon or a drizzle of honey. It also works wonderfully as an addition to salads, pasta, casseroles, or on a cheese board.
